Angelo Guadagno - CEO

Mr. Guadagno has over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry and has served in executive management, senior sales and marketing, and engineering positions. In addition to teaching at Boston University, he has been involved in a variety of consulting assignments both for venture capital groups and with small and medium size companies. His BOD experience includes Savior Technology, Finale Inc, Boston, Ezworkplace Inc, Asic Alliance and Site Technology. His corporate experience includes Data General Corp, Apollo Computer and Digital Equipment Corp.

He holds an MBA from Babson College, a M.S. in Math from Villanova University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering also from Villanova University.

Andy Meyer - CTO

Mr. Meyer has been involved in digital design and verification for over 20 years in engineering, project management, and senior management in both large and small companies. Prior to Assertive Design, Andy was an architect at Cadence Design Systems, Chief Technical Officer of Zaiq Technologies, a verification consulting company, and an independent consultant at a number of leading companies including Teradyne, Sun Microsystems and Sequoia Systems. Andy is the author of "Principles of Functional Verification", a reference manual on developing and managing the verification process to achieve predictable flows and project success.

He holds a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Champaign and an MSECE from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Mike Concannon - VP of Engineering

Mr. Concannon has been involved in high-speed mixed signal and digital ASIC, FPGA, and System level design and verification as well as project management, software architecture, development and support. Prior to joining Assertive Design, he was a Principal Consultant for Zaiq Technologies after working as an Engineer at Sanders (a Lockheed Martin Company). At Sanders he worked on a number of projects involving ASIC/FPGA design and verification for high-speed mixed signal RF Countermeasures products. While at Zaiq, he was involved in and/or lead projects at a number of leading companies including Nortel Networks, Teradyne, and Agere/Lucent Technologies and BBN. At Zaiq, he was also responsible for EDA tool development, architecture and support.

He holds a BSEE from the University of Florida.

Bob "Fred" Fredieu - VP of R & D

Mr. Fredieu has over 25 years in the electonics industry with experience as an engineer, project manager, and in senior management. He was an early adopter of ASICs, verification, and synthesis. He has worked on designs in the computer, graphics, communications, and automatic test industries at companies such as Computervision, Alliant, Stellar/Stardent, Kendall Square Research, ACRI, Datapoint, Teradyne, Nortel, Agere, and BBN. He was a founder, CTO, and Board member of Zaiq Technologies.

He holds a BS in Physics and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
